I totally agree with this blog article.
About five years ago, I guess, when my former church had a new pastor, as a then worship leader my husband asked him if he had any preferences as to what kind of songs he wanted in the services. The pastor answered it didn't matter if they were traditional or contemporary,but that they needed to be "theologically correct" to be sung at church. We agreed.
